The legal service section is not limited to leaks originating from attorneys, but legal support staff as well. Support staff includes translators, investigators, transcriptionists, paralegals, expert witnesses, and more.

The attorney client privilege is one the most important rights in the United States. Below you will find a list of violations, and our involvement in remediation.

National Forensics & Legal Support Firm

National Legal support and forensics firm leaks out 5,354 confidential files, dealing with national regulatory investigations of a Fortune 500 corporation. Confidential attorney client privileged information was published, along with sealed settlement data and proposals. We contacted the director of IT and provided him with the source of the breach.

Celebrity Entertainment Lawyer

Celebrity entertainment lawyer leaked out 9,287 files, mostly confidential deal negotiations, as well as scripts not authorized for distribution. RedTeam advised the end user to remove the P2P application. Six month's later, RedTeam gets an alert that the files are back on the gnutella P2P network. The employee reinstalled the program, and exposed the data once again, with 6 more month's of confidential data. We called the end user another time, and the application was finally removed. 

Virginia Based Lawyer

Leaked out over 1,000 Confidential attorney-client privileged criminal defense related files. Included were full social security numbers and case updates. RedTeam neutralized the threat.
